Here’s the thing about being a “warm, tactile person”: with people you know well, who know your tendency to want to touch shoulders or otherwise make small physical gestures of personal connection/affection—and who are okay with that contact—it’s absolutely not a big deal.

Drunk girl” Right. Nice to know consent is optional.

Even if the drunk girl said no or was too drunk to consent? Fuck that shit. Rape is rape and should always be prosecuted. What about the 40 years or mental anguish that victim may have gone through?

Agreed with one small caveat.

I wish it were possible for the woman to countersue somehow. There ought to be some way to penalize men for not taking the appropriate steps to corral their invading sperm.
Just for the record, this is a man writing this.

I’m a girl, so all my life I have been told that my clothing sends messages to other people. If I wear a skirt that is a little too short or a shirt that shows a little too much cleavage, I am apparently communicating that I consent to being groped or worse.

Life gave these kids an early opportunity to show what they’re made of, and they took it. I hope it haunts at least a few of them, but maybe that’s wishful thinking.

What you need to do is take your #WellActually ass somewhere else right now, because you’re being hella inappropriate. Thanks.

Too bad the TX Attorney General is unfamiliar with the law, then?

Steadily gained the weight back until I was tipping the scales at nearly 300 pounds in 2012. A visit to a doctor (for an unrelated illness) was a wakeup call, and I spend the

Guys getting slapped on the wrist for rape is horrifying. This is beyond that. I am not a FBI profiler or anything, but isn’t he basically at stage 1 of becoming a serial killer?

Well, he actually can’t walk across the street at all.
