1. Yes, drivers made a lot when the service first started, because there were no drivers. Increased work load, while being paid for work rate and not per hour, means you get paid a lot. Now there are too many uber drdrivers.

Yeah... taxis own the right to drive taxis, and are largely self employed. Not really a good comparison, taxis use to make a good living, now thanks to Ride share, they don't. These companies should be forced out of major cities, they've done nothing but increase traffic.
