So you would like to emulate - or see others emulate - members of a society that subjects children to horrible deaths by forcing them fight each other to the death for food, as a fashion trend??? But yet, if a person in our own society happens to be a white, straight male with money you assume they "abuse hookers and

I'm not talking about "making fun of" people here, you fucking idiot. You are making horrible blanket statements about a particular type of person based on their gender, skin color and the fact that they have money. You didn't say "I bet rich white bankers have small penises" - you said that you assume they all "abuse

I'm not sticking up for this guy, you fuckwad. It's one thing to hear the story and assume it was a rich white guy (didn't surprise me that it was)- it's something completely different to assume that all straight rich white guys do the horrible things you say you assume they do - and that makes you a complete raging

It's been a while since I looked into the audio thing - I would have expected it to be illegal in way more than 12 states..

You are also why many people hate feminists. To assume anyone abuses hookers and pollutes the ocean just because of their skin color and gender and the fact that they make a good living makes you a complete raging asshole.

I think there are also probably some white dudes with Irish names that are not American. Not really sure what this person's comment was intended to mean..

A camera does not turn consensual sex into rape.

Actually, I think you have the audio / video thing backwards; it is not legal to record audio of someone without their consent (which is why, in legal situations, suspects and witnesses, etc., are first asked to acknowledge consent at the beginning of the recording during recorded depositions, etc., as well as during

:^)

Actually, an onomatopoeia is a word - one that imitates the sound to which it refers (such as "plink" "ding" "boom", etc.). "Huh" isn't really imitating a sound - it is the sound.

"..you are making an issue out of something that isn't an issue at all" - well, this IS jezebel, after all..

"..man hand-designed phones are actually interfering with women's ability to be journalists." - this is the flat-out STUPIDEST thing I have read in a long, long, LONG time.

Well the boy was not suspended for wearing a purse to school, for one.

Then buy a smaller fucking phone.

"A sporran -is- a purse / bag." - and as such (since further reading indicates that purses are also not allowed in the classrooms), would fall under the same rule. So what was your original point (considering you only asked what would happen if he wore a sporran, not a kilt as well)? You seem to be stuck on the boy-w

Because the kid's purse / bag falls under the school's rule about bags.

"I hope Skylar Davis reads this Jezebel article & the comments on it." - including all of the comments that reference and link to all of the actual facts that he is leaving out and / or misrepresenting.

The school didn't pick this as their mission, this kid did. Meaning, he made it his mission to go public with falsely representing a situation in which he was rightfully suspended (breaking rules and talking back to / swearing at teachers and administrators when called out on it).

You said that bags not being allowed in classrooms is dumb. I gave you a valid reason why it isn't. The clutter factor is the reason the school does not allow any of the students to bring their bags to class. Your reply seems to indicate that you think this boy alone should be allowed to wear his bag to class while

No he will not. He broke a rule that applies to female and male students alike, then talked back & swore at the teacher, administrators and principle when he was called out on it. I don't think the First Amendment protects a student's "right" to do that.
