Replying to myself, but to flesh out my position as standing on more than just "I like it better," I tend toward the manta that art is "finished" not when there's nothing left to add, but when there's nothing left to remove.

The Mace Windu fight on Dantooine as a single action set piece is so much better than anything (action or character drama) in the CGI shows that it's hard to take this seriously.
