God I miss the old AV Club.

It had its own commenting system. You could give posts titles (it’s all coming back to me now) and you could comment without an account, so people would do things like this:

Name: is bringing back
Title: This comment
Comment: memories from the Clinton years

and it would read out like

This is probably the best comment ever to appear on Kinja.
