Coming across this post for the first time, almost exactly a year after it was published. This is appalling and disgusting and should make everyone very scared. I’m hoping the lack of comments is just the sound of being shocked into silence.

California will accept absentee ballots up to three days after Election Day as long as the envelope is post-marked on or before Election Day. I have no idea. My father has never been caught and therefore has never had to have one of these contraptions installed. But he would be the type of drunk driver I would imagine the test while driving provision is for, since he literally drinks while driving.

My dad would fill a coffee thermos with whiskey, get in the car sober, and drink out of the thermos as he drove, leaving the car wasted at the end of his trip to wherever (probably Hell). He is not a good person and exactly who I think this provision is for.
