This is dumb. People should be allowed to watch movies and draw their own conclusions.

People have weird fantasies. This isn’t mine personally, but it’s someone’s. I would hope most people know it’s not supposed to be realistic.

I thought we are suppose to shame people who don’t social distance? I just can’t keep up with the new rules.

The list of things Joss Whedon did wrong is:
1) Something obsessed fans made up
2) Cheating on his wife
3) Writing a script you didn’t like

Good, you already know nuanced opinions ‘round these parts are met with hostility. Thank you for the perspective nonetheless.

Hey all, black front desk agent here. I wouldn’t jump completely down this woman’s throat.

My hotel uses key cards, and from what I saw from the -8:50 mark in the video, I gonna assume this Hampton Inn does, too. Unfortunately, stray cards are a thing, though matching said cards to a room is impossible. So just waving

in other news why was this pool open in a pandemic?  stay in your room everyone

Not so - reach over the fence and unlatch the gate. They don’t need a key to get out.

The key doesn’t prove she’s a guest. They are disposable.

Most white women have very little of anything in their lives. This is drama. Drama makes the day shorter.

Meh paragraph two is why Booker lost. He was backed by the popular “liberal elite from Washington” and it made him and his ideas seem out of touch from what people want. I would also not be surprised if like most Southern states Kentucky liberals are just not that liberal, making Booker more of an outsider in his

“Those pools are gated. You can’t get into them without a freaking room key to unlock the gate.

Probably not, and for good reason. I know you’re on the right side of this, but RDJ’s character is the epitome of the tone-deaf white celebrity who believes it’s okay to appropriate black culture in the name of nothing more than his role in a movie, and he’s made out to be the biggest tool because of it. Apparently

I thought the point of that scene was to show how racist and out-of-date Dwight’s cultural references were. It wasn’t a casual use of blackface, it was pointed and intentional to make fun of the real use of blackface and the fictional Shrute family.

I mean, aren’t the first three Pirates films also female-led? Jack Sparrow may have gotten most of the attention, but throughout the trilogy Elisabeth Swann is clearly the protagonist.
