Please stop excusing her behavior. She and her entire family were born in the US and have zero Hispanic heritage. She only spent her summer vacations at her rich parents vacation home in Spain. She may be in love with Spanish culture, but that doesn’t give her permission to wear it like a costume and mislead everyone

Everything I have ever read about Hilaria Baldwin has to do with her being the “mysterious Spanish yoga instructor” who swept Alec off his feet.

Ugh, Hillary. Mallorca = Catalan and Ave Maria is in Latin not Spanish. I pity her kids having such creepy parents.

She went to school, full-time, kindergarten through college, in the United States. And vacationed in Mallorca, part of a Catalonian-majority autonomous province, some summers with her parents. Then what about the fact that she claims to have grown up in Spain (when she grew up in Boston) and that her family is Spanish (they are Americans who moved to Spain when they retired)? Does that get any side-eye from you?

The other thing that is interesting about this to me personally, but that nobody is mentioning is that if she really had grown up in Mallorca it’s unlikely she would primarily and solely speak Spanish as her 2nd language as Catalan is what is predominantly spoken on that island. I speak fluent Spanish and have visited…

I have no trouble believing that she changed her name from Hilary to Hilaria. None.
