Oil is one thing, wait until the energy (electricity) price for most of the eastern portion of the US doubles. Most don’t know that Canada supplies electricity to them.

And worse, the Dems will help by talking about Bipartisanship and saying wait for the system, instead of pulling on their iron soled dancing shoes and doing a rumba on his ass at every opportunity. Because civility.

No doubt, the circus up here isn’t much better and only getting worse. As terrible as Trudeau is he saw Trump coming and decided he wanted nothing to do with that clown and stepped down, I’ll take that as a win.

It wont end after 4 years if he’s still alive.  There’s zero chance he’s giving up the throne before he’s worm-food.  We’re lucky if we’ll even get actual midterm elections in 2 years.

And here’s the thing — the tariffs might be 25%, but you’ll be shocked to know that companies will raise them by 35% (or more), just because they know that most stupid Americans cannot do percentages. So they’ll collect an extra 10% on the backend but blame the entirety of the increase on the tariffs.

Really hope the Premier of Ontario follows through with his threat and just turns off the lights on the eastern seaboard.

I’m up in Canada and I can say there is plenty of nervousness here about what’s to come for the US.  Unfortunately we are tied to the US in more ways than we care to admit and will ultimately suffer right along side you as Captain Creamsicle does his worst impression of a president.  This will be a long 4 years ahead…

Interesting that in no way did I mention death. But given that I mentioned them- meaning whoever trump appoints to do his bullshit- would come for your family first- then you I guess made the next logical conclusion: That trump is exactly what I suggested. Maybe you should think more.

Can I say how much I appreciate the take on these news stories - you’re not trying to be “objective” or “non-political” because no one can afford to be at this point. Keep calling out the bullshit, and don’t let the idiots off easy.

The US is the largest consumer country in the world. Any tariffs, either set by the US or another country, negatively affects the US a lot more than the other country.

This is the first time I’ve woken up as an American and genuinely not felt safe. And to all the people who chose this? Fuck you and I hope they come for your family first.
