Got to say, disappointing being a Kiwi and seeing Dixon lose out to that. At the other end of the spectrum, this was the first Indy race I had actually been to, and as a intense F1 fan I can honestly say that Indycar is damn awesome. Long Beach put on a good event and I loved it.

Damn, I saw a couple of these take off from Miramar Airbase on the day of the crash. Maybe I saw the final take off... Such imposing beasts the Osprey.

They have firepower in that design team, wouldn’t write it off quickly by any means.

The VFR1200 was designed by the same designer at the Honda studio in Italy, so definite influences. I believe the 250 was done out of Japan but after the VFR so they took styling from it.

This one garners a bit of interest from outside of the motorcycle world, always see it popping up on design blog sites randomly.
