The original was a kids cartoon so sublime that it reached far beyond its target audience. Maybe this one is squarely aimed at children?

exactly this is what i remember, part one appeared in the end credits

i’m pretty sure, at least in the initial release, it actually ENDED with the part one drop.

While I wouldn’t rank it over S1, it is easily one of the more interesting seasons of television I’ve seen recently.

In Season 2, Pizzolatto literally wrote the line, “I will come back here and butt f*ck your dad with your mom’s headless corpse.” I think whatever mantle he held regarding quality or “classic dialogue” ended right there. Also, so much of what made season 1 what it was the acting and direction. Many of the ideas were

For a show that coasted so much on *vibes* Pizzolatto sure has a high f’ing opinion of his own fun but stupid writing.

I can’t help wondering if there is some misogyny in this and a lot of other criticisms of the season. Honestly, it may be my favorite season of the show.

The people I know who are watching S4 don’t even know the creative team changed, they just know it got good again after 2 seasons they didn’t like. I tell them it’s a new creative team and they’re super surprised.

How does a personal dispute result in 23 other people being shot? Like, at what point do people just stop and think, hey maybe we should take this somewhere else?

Anything involving the incredibly popular and wildly successful Taylor Swift is treated as a news story because it gets the views/clicks. How many times did sports reporting mention her when she started dating Kelce? How many cutaways to her in the box did the networks do when showing a game? She’s going to get

Goddamn you people are pathetic.

The fuck you do to help the world today besides fart?

Erika Christensen does well in a difficult to pull off role too, the tough female cop tormented by inner demons. She sells it

I love this show and I’m glad to see it getting some love here.  Agree with everything in this write-up--Ramon Rodriguez is a dream as the title character and the supporting cast is just as good.  It’s easy for procedurals to get lost in the shuffle but I think this one stands out.

Probably, but let’s keep in mind that just because something is true doesn’t mean it needs to be said.

The stakes aren’t too high to make fun of Joe Biden, but if you’re Jon Stewart and you’re making fun of Joe Biden, you should make fun of Joe Biden with new material

Once again: it is not the media’s job, nor has it ever been the media’s job, to overlook the flaws in your favorite candidate just because you view it as necessary for the greater good.”

So come down from those Super Bowl highs and enjoy a rundown of the best commercials of the year—and maybe a couple that absolutely sucked...

So is this list in reverse? Dunkin’ was easily one of the best ones (yes Matt is the best thing in it). And Christopher Walken should be higher than 10.

To keep it close-to-home, this season Beth should cheer on a genocide.
