“I know you can just not use it, but once you get used to it being there, it’s hard to pretend it isn’t.”

It’s a great feature for when I want a more easy-going session, and it it does help mitigate a lot of the awful design choices in the first game. But I do wish there was a way to turn it off in the menu when I want to do a “proper” run.

Internet service is just a product.

If you think he hasn’t released any products, you literally do not know who he is. What the fuck are you talking about? I see his products in real life with regularity (and, in a show of great restraint, don’t spit on them).

Oh, yeah, letting the internet vote on reporter credibility would totally not be weaponized by the Annoying Orange and his troll army; what a great plan.

*farts*

I have a sinking suspicion that there is a significant amount over overlap in a Venn diagram of gamergaters, pizzagates, and the Musk fanboi legion that came out in force the last few days to attack journalists and scientists.

I think the reason people are unhappy is that you also can’t do shit about your shitty service if you still want Internet.

What the fuck do they care? So long as they have legal monopolies and gov’t protection, they’re laughing all the way to the bank. The companies need to be broken up, or have competition otherwise encouraged ($$) at a national level and the internet needs to be recognized as a public utility.

Cable companies don’t have to improve anything. I have the choice of sticking with Spectrum even though since they took over they have raised my bill twice and are going to raise it again by $20 more dollars, so the price has doubled since Spectrum took over not that long ago. Or I can get AT&T DSL and have slow

And you know what? That could end up being a good thing.

Think about the law, in place for two years, and what that says for companies and their use of your data. Just because you’re fine with their handling of the data you give doesn’t mean that someone who is naive should fall into the trap. Just because its good for you doesn’t mean its good for someone else. Especially

Sorry, everyone, we need to keep selling your data to third parties for big moolah, without your permission, to keep investors happy. So, no internet for you.

Now *this* is a terrible and inappropriate response.

“But I really expected a few more months out of him. Not really a fan, but I guess I expected him to be around a bit longer.”

Moving tribute. Like he was a fair-to-middling water filter.

Are you trying to shame him in death? Because that was just a reminder of how fucking great he was.

Is now REALLY the fucking time for this?

RIP Totalbiscuit.

Holy shit. I know the big C comes down hard on some people. But I really expected a few more months out of him. Not really a fan, but I guess I expected him to be around a bit longer. RIP John Bain.

I hope his family and friends are coping with their lost as best they can.

Fuck cancer.
