Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t this still leave the consumer in essentially the same position? All they have to do is claim the problem was caused by the 3rd-party accessory or the user opening the console and poking around.

Though, I guess I grew up in the 80s when everyone made fun of every th ing as a coping mechanism. I watched 911 happen in high school and people around me made jokes about how weird it looked when pwoplw were running and pushing over cameras. not because they had no empathy, but sometimes humans do weird things or

I saw the skit and it was obvious that she was on the side of the protestors and that she wants us to fight without Nazis running us over or the President to side with the violent Nazis. I don’t understand people people outraged when comedy highlights what is actually going on in the world. People need to climb out of

The backlash against that idea was strong, but she says she only found out about it from friends, since she avoids social media.

She apologized and said she should have worded it better. What kind of awesome liberal purity do you have that she’s not a valuable ally? She got successful, how dare this woman get successful and make minor mistakes, then apologize and say she’s always trying to be better? She’s definitely not good enough right?

So, the top two when you went on (apparently five seconds after posting) aren’t the top two anymore, apparently.

Do you expect us to research the history of commenters before starring? I’m not sure which comments you’re talking about, but at least one of the top two seem reasonable.

He had part of his papers confiscated by his employer in a foreign country.  And it nearly ended up causing him legal troubles. And this resulted in only a three month ban for the staffers on his team responsible for doing that. He never received any formal apology.

People who get mad at comedy routines for not changing the world should just sit home alone and never go outside or look at the internet.

The verbal warning both Dara and Tussle received was for not carrying their resident cards with them. However, even though all foreigners must carry their resident cards at all times, Dara alleged that Pentagram management took the resident cards and made threats. Pentagram, however, said this was merely

It’s actually not a bad idea for him to get involved with that in Korea, but I wouldn’t fault him if he didn’t.

Clearly since he is a victim of abuse, the responsibility to fix his entire home country falls upon his shoulders.

It is worse than that, it looks like the parent company of the team took away their resident cards as punishment, and also so they couldn’t go out and join another team. The agency, and subsequently the team, were punished for abusing their authority and power to keep their players subservient.

As a Korean-American who was born in the States, this doesn’t surprise me as even I face some discrimination when I go back to visit. Sad truth is there will be racists and bigots no matter where you go.

Thank god foreigners and minorities are only treated poorly in Korea and Japan. Really hope this type of stuff doesn’t hit the ‘States!

So they’re more or less exactly like the United States is right now?

Don’t kid yourself though. The same shit happens in any city in Canada / US too. A co-worker of mine in Vancouver told us he gets harassed almost on a weekly basis for being asian despite being Vancouver born and raised.

Holding onto the documents of foreign workers to then make them as compliant as possible is scarily common.

yep, old school internet!

Not playing his music, and not discussing him no matter what he says or does is about the only boycott that would work. He (and the Kardashians) feed off attention, any kind of attention. Any protest, or response to his behavior will be, ultimately, beneficial to him. I know way too many people who ‘hate watch’ the
