this lp is some kind of a letdown, hopefully the next album will kick the party back up. It's not bad, most of it is just meh

i love loma prieta, the new 7" and a hoodie just came in the mail this week. Can't wait for the new LP!

I enjoyed at least one of the last Matthew Perry sitcom attempts and Tom Lennon is one of the funniest people in the world for lil gary alone not to mention his innumerable other credits so hopefully this will be ok

Glad to hear this is happening, it sounds like Jimmy's finally got someone's attention and is starting his rise, hopefully. If you don't listen to Never Not Funny, which is worth every penny, you have no excuse not to now as it's free on earwolf

glad to hear spraynard's getting back together, need more bands like them

for whatever reason La Dispute never clicked with me, I love Xerxes, Touche Amore, Pianos Become The Teeth, Make Do And Mend, lots in this whole screamo/emo/post hardcore scene and La Dispute just never stuck for me. Glad to see AV Club writing about them though, more like this would be apreciated

I quite enjoyed Snow Patrol for awhile before getting into metal and then hardcore punk. I saw Silversun Pickups open for them in Winnipeg a bunch of years ago and Gary said someone smashed a window on their tour bus. Best song is by far How To Be Dead. They really evolved from a quirky, kinda adorable indie rock band

I quite enjoyed the last EP, Every Letter And Souvenir, quite looking forward to more music. Glad he's hooked up with a full band, I think the songs work better that way

maybe it's just my netflix/media hint being weird but the Canadian netflix has Community but no 30 Rock while the American netflix has 30 Rock but no Community

afi never was an emo band and aside from the corrupted hot topic post-hardcore mainstream media emo has nothing to do with actual emo

excellent, hopefully they don't mess it up too bad

happy to see this being covered here. Touché Amoré is one of my favourites band, …To The Beat Of A Dead Horse really captivated me and I was kinda let down by Parting The Sea. Only listened through Is Survived By once so far but it's already a strong contender for album of the year and a real step forward from Parting

other than the top three, Thrilling Adventure Hour and the Bugle, this list is insane. No mention of the Long Shot, Who Charted?, Doug Loves Movies, The Smartest Man In The World, Jordan Jesse Go!
