The Zephyr is cool I think, both because it’s a cool name and because this cursive script seems somehow stylized in an understated fashion, even though it really isn't.

They are absolutely a transitional tech, and I think you’ve got a point that we may be running out the clock on using a transitional technology at all. 

I bought an ICE hot hatch a few years back, with the intention of keeping it a good long time (of the near 20 cars I’ve owned, it’s by far my most favorite), however, I too have no qualms with eventually going electric.

If you buy a hybrid though, you’re not ditching ICE. I think ICE has a place in the market for the foreseeable future—in PHEVs. BEVs aren’t practical for everyone yet, but PHEVs could be practical for anybody right now today.

I myself am a believer in ditching ICE, I’ll be actively looking for exclusively a hybrid or EV for my next purchase. However, I do seem to recall there are seemingly-good (from where I stand in my layman’s understanding) criticisms to be leveled at hybrid vehicles, specifically about them being the worst of both…
