The use of the word “forced” makes it sound nefarious and of ill will instead of a reasonable word like “unable” due to permission / likeness rights, etc.
“Forced to exclude” leads the reader to assume nefarious action on someone’s part, when no such action took place. “Lego Unable to Feature Hidden Figures Heroine From Cool Women of NASA Set” is a more correct headline, but doesn’t generate clicks in the same manner.
