London: The Biography by Peter Ackroyd notes that reports of ghostly phenomena in London often correlate with buildings above underground waterways. With moist drafts and low frequency vibrations from water flow being the likely culprits.
“Sorry. No it doesn’t. Movies are supposed to be entertaining, not mystery boxes.”
Great, good for you. I don’t want to be spoiled. You know Luke is going to be in it. You’re saying that knowing the specific role he will be playing in the film will impact whether you buy a ticket or not? I call bullshit.
It’s not about whether he;’s in the movie...his name is in the credits...he was on set. he IS in the movie. It’s the capacity for what is happening to Luke 30 years after Endor that is being kept secret. And what exactly is SO wrong with keeping that under wraps?
Funny, I don’t recall Vader being Luke’s father being revelaed in the OT trailer for TESB...nor do I recall seeing/hearing about Vader’s redemtoion in ROTJ in the trailers. Seriously. Weak. Try again man.
“Further where Luke is or whether Jon Smith is Khan or not aren’t even spoilers or mysteries.”
Blind? wtf are you talking about? There have been 3 trailers and will be a 1000 reviews between now and when you see the movie. I’m a Gen Xer as well and I have exactly the opposite response- I’m tired of having every movie I’m excited about spoiled by people who think that we should know every frame of film before…
You’re not entitled to demand that sort of thing from an artist. Sorry. That’s not how the world works.
Even with a given that you could GET a truck down there (not sure how you managed that trick and both lived and got the truck down there intact) you just killed everyone in Alexandria.
Killer whales: silent but deadly.
You know, the fact that no one was around was part of the reason it was a shock, and I think having him make it out would undermine that. The tendency you noted of making use of the deaths could actually be a negative overall because then, any scene where one of the main crew is isolated would be one the audience…
Perfectly fair! I was just saying in the context of what the show has given is his plan really was not bad at all.
You’re getting basic facts wrong that have been talked about in the dialogue. Don’t throw a fit about getting told to go take another look and pay attention so you won’t be a waste of space in the comment section.
Rule #17 of the Zombie Fighting Guide (not a real thing):
Everyone says this but forgets that they got lucky in even being there when the truck collapsed. Had they not, they would’ve just been presented with an army of zombies at their gates. That still may happen but what they’d put in place was certainly smart and working to completion until the very unforeseen and…
am I the only person who thought the season two arguments about shit like dishes were great? Life after the apocalypse is going to be mundane as fuck and those moments grounded the characters. It gave them a minute to be humans with emotions like “annoyance” and “cranky”, which made them very relatable.
A better plan would have been to reinforce the trucks holding the zombies back it was a perfect catch basin ,and kept the zombies from swarming on home base , then thin out the herd with target practice /training for the new people.
On a poisitive note “Flaming Zombie Napalm Horde” is a good band name if someone wants it.
