Someday soon, DC will go back to the original timeline, which is the only real canon continuity.

Wait, but didn’t we agree that saying this is the “All Female Ghostbusters” was subtly sexist and that the makers of the movie weren’t promoting it as such?

I think the problem with this film isn’t that the cast is female, but because its creators took an established property, uncreatively swapped the main characters’ genders, and then tossed-out all of the previously established backstory and canon rather than building off it.

Don’t forget Blue Velvet, Wild At Heart, Fire Walk With Me...

TV Line are reporting Angelo Badalamenti will return to score the revived show, and is already working on new music for the series.”

Just a little bit of shameless self-promotion here, Hasslein Books has two very thorough reference guides on the Back to the Future universe; these are included in the new BttF Almanac, and Mr. Gale himself has praised them for their attention to detail! Take a look here: BttF Lexicon and BttF Chronology

Tell that to the little girls in Afghanistan that got sprayed with acid in their eyes because some Talib asshole doesn’t want them to get educated.

Ah. Fair enough, but as I understood it (and it’s been a while since I read the BTS for T2) those were not battlefield models. They were endoskeletons from the T-series meant for fleshy overlays but, as they had Skynet pressed, they were deployed as is into the battle.

I agree with basically everything you said regarding Salvation, but the strength that we see the Resistance at in the future segments of the other films makes plenty of sense, as the entire plot is that Humanity has all but won at that point and sending the Terminator back is a last ditch effort. As for the weapons,

Meh. This (and SCC) will always be my canonical look of the Terminator franchise’s future war. Mind you, if there had been more pulse laser action and a blue colour tint, I may have liked Salvation a bit more.

You know, I had a good time with it. Far better than Rise and Salvation. It felt like it belonged with 1 and 2, even if it would be the weakest of those three to me.

To say nothing of Peak Medical Drama, Peak Police Procedural, Peak Misfit Family Sitcom, Peak Odd Couple, etc.

You would want Lila Cheney, not Nightcrawler. I love him but his range and carrying ability are pretty limited. Lila, on the other hand, can teleport between galaxies and is actually able to teleport an entire planet. She once planned on stealing Earth just to prove her own badassery! Also, she’s a rockstar who angs

99% of anyone on a superhero team is completely irrelavent. The perfect superhero team would be Nightcrawler, Professor X, and Forge. Assuming Nightcrawler can train himself to teleport large masses, what possible problems couldn’t they solve/prevent within a few seconds.

If you are up for another zombie movie that is just about a few survivors and hardly has any zombies in it, I liked Extinction.

It’s not a good movie, but it wasn’t a brutal trainwreck that gave me PTSD at least lol

Yeah sorry, but she IS obscure, and that’s exactly the problem: She really shouldn’t be. She’s a great character with enormous potential that Marvel has mostly ignored.

No, it’s that Superman isn’t supposed to be that. It would be like creating a Smurfs cartoon that focused on Smurfette being raped all the time, because that’s how they would totally reproduce, or something. Don’t like the Marvel movies? That’s fine, but at least they understand their characters and try to make the

I guess. But I’ve been reading Superman for 20 years and hell, I couldn’t answer the question. PLUS, he probably doesn’t want to give the “wrong” answer and piss off crazy fans who think the answer he gives has any bearing whatsoever on the outcome of the film. Believe me, who Henry Cavill thinks Superman should date
