They aren't doing it to fuck with him. This isn't a way of picking on him.

They think this is an honest way to monitor him.

If they really wanted to fuck with him, LEAVE THE ASSHOLE IN PRISON. Hell, I don't care if they castrate the fucker or give him a frontal lobotomy for that matter.

I'm 46 now: finished college at 13, attended USMA at 18, worked on chemical weapons development at 25, developed weapons that would kill you as soon as you could say Jack F... I lived in a foxhole, a trailer, a palace, a barracks, a condo, and an aircraft hangar before I was 30. I eat turds like you for breakfast,

If you can dodge an arrow, you can dodge a ball.

You missed the part when he shot through chain mail, I guess. Also, you sound a little jealous.

Excepting Lactose Intolerance, I have IBS and wouldn't be able to live without dairy products because of all the protein, fat, and nutrients I get from them they are one of the few food groups that don't make me bloat up like a dead horse.

That's not how fiction works, if she doesn't give Sirius an eye color, he doesn't have an eye color because he's not a real person and 5 different people could picture him with 5 different eye colors. Dumbledore was not clearly gay if you read the book and she had the option to make him clearly gay in the later books

What do you conceive of as "invalid target" here, and why? It's fine and dandy that Rowling is, apparently, down with queers being around at Hogwarts. But you would never really know this based on her books themselves, and that's the point.

I wish she had written in any LGBT characters in. She didn't. Canon is only what is written in the actual work, not what the author writes in interviews/ Q&As. If she really wanted those characters in there, she could (should totally!) write a book eight or prequel actually showing these characters instead of going in

As a giant queer, I never found Dumbledore's orientation clear. The announcement of it was a farce. I guess if I had just squinted a little harder whilst reading ...

She is just making shit up. It's after the fact and it isn't in the books, so why read into the series more than is actually there? Because someone tweeted something?

But books are ultimately written by an author. The inclusion or exclusion of queer characters is a conscious choice.

Implied is not the same as expressed.

Dumbledore's sexuality was also a post-publication retcon.

I know you're not trying to suggest it. You just happen to be.

Um... what? Are you trying to suggest that since Tolkien is dead, he has to let the work speak for itself? Whereas Rowling is alive and able to spin whatever fable she wants to?

Let's remember that the NFLPA agreed to this in the last CBA. It was an issue before then, but they decided to take a stand on other monetary issues instead. They had a chance to help create a better process but they punted on it out of greed. They're at the very least complicit in this situation.

If there's only so much candy one can eat...you're doing it wrong.
