He films in such slow motion, the humour is only catching up to us now...

I wouldn't put it quite like so reductively, but yes - her score is part of what made the first one. We don't need the new hotness to replace the old hotness.

Although getting a collaboration between the three of them for the third film if it actually happens… (pleasepleaseplease)

I'm taking a guess that you are in your mid to late twenties. Or maybe even younger to even think that those two soundtracks could use a new one. Some of the tracks are iconic and instantly recognizable to Sci-fans to this day.

I'd rather Wendy Carlos doing a soundtrack for the new Tron. :)

I wouldn't mind one for consistency sake. But I love Carlos' original score.

Wendy Carlos > Daft Punk

No thanks. I like the old one.

1) Colin Baker was screwed over by horrible scripts and Producers who hated Doctor Who. Listen to Colin Baker's Big Finish audio dramas, he's much better there.

Just finished re-watching the series last night.

It is crazy that everyone expected it to be on par with The Simpsons, because Futurama surpassed it right out of the gate. Try watching the first couple seasons of The Simpsons now It's agony. Futurama had a *lot* of positive media attention and buzz before it's premiere, though.

Heh... but in the end, I loved Katee's attitude to it all. "I've got the job, deal with it." :)

I actually liked Ferris Bueller better than Parker Lewis. Having said that, I had no taste at that age.

To be fair, it was barely even acknowledged when it first started. The critics that actually bothered to review the pilot gave it above-average marks, but the thing is, this was the era when TV Guide was giving The WB and The UPN one page each to preview their entire fall lineups. Meanwhile, all the big networks got

A low-budget midseason replacement show on the shitty WB network starring nobody you know except maybe that guy from the British version of those will-they-or-won't-they coffee commercials, based on a below-average movie that was mildly amusing at its BEST, and written/created by the guy who's best known for doing

Let's put this in context. Darth Vader was onscreen in Star Wars (Episode IV) for only 12 minutes. The shark was onscreen for only 4 minutes of Jaws. The alien in Alien and the Cloverfield monster had about three and a half minutes each. The Blob was onscreen for less than two minutes of its namesake film.

We've been training ourselves for years.

He'd at least be ripping off someone who actually knows how to write the DC superheroes with respect to the source material.

The crux of my post was that I felt like you just blame bad things on football without establishing that football is the cause or ruling out the chance that the problems would exist otherwise. And yes, some system-is-fucked filtered in, but that's kind of the point: the system is more than just football, and you've

actively hurtful to some people but not all. The problem is people like you think that everything has to not offend anyone. That is his point. We don't need to be afraid to offend every person or interest group. Life isn't fair, you will get offended sometimes. Sometimes it's great to hear different opinions than
