We should always be skeptical about things people say on the internet, especially towards someone who claims to work for/represent a company.

I’m going to assume that since he lied about who he was that he also lied about receiving any death threats. Until an actual EA game developer receives death threats and they are verified by EA(and maybe the police, as well), then we can start to worry about the community on this particular issue.

But you can buy a World Series for half the price.

That started in the UK in the mid ‘70s from an advertisement for a detergent. It was “Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy.”

LaserDisc(MCA Discovision originally) was available commercially not long after VHS(early 1977), in 1978, but it never really caught on, even though they introduced the special content that became ubiquitous on DVDs in the 1990s.

Does that mean he forced Iraq to invade Kuwait?

LaVar wasn’t playing. LaVar is not in the NBA. LaVar was never in the NBA.

This is so absolutely the wrong take about this that I can’t even put it into words.

Except in that case, if the losing team had the person who owned the football playing with them, they would just take it and go home. And screw you guys.

Also the one where the Chiefs defender was mauling the Raider’s receiver’s head. Looked like he was trying to choke him out in midair.

The only stupid thing here is your comment. Seriously, you think you get to come back and play your comment off like it’s okay? You were dead wrong and your math sucks and you suck. Just live with being a dumbass right now, then move on.

You are missing the MOST IMPORTANT thing about donations directly to politicians’ campaigns. There is a limit and it is very small - less than $3K per election cycle. Make no mistake, Weinstein was a big deal for the dems for 25 years, and not just for what he personally donated.

Most likely. Appalachia KY and the Jackson Purchase region of KY are like two different worlds. Coal country versus tobacco country.

Didn’t want you to have to think about something like that when it’s already a mind-fuck to think about HW at all.

It’s “I gotta get help guys.”

Pedantic historian here. The battle was in August of 1814, not in 1815, and the war was over by March of 1815. I know it’s been some time since the article was published, but it just popped up on the top banner.

In a lot of states a parkway is an actual open highway... Pennyrile Parkway in Kentucky, Blue Ridge Parkway in the Appalachians, etc.

Not when I lived there in the 70s and 80s. We always called it the berm, like most other places.

As in on the verge of being in the road?

What part of Kentucky? I lived in far western Kentucky for a total of 13 years and never heard it used like that before, but then that part of western Kentucky has southern accents so thick Jeff Foxworthy might be confused. Nobody ever says “Huh?” or “Excuse me?” or “What did you say?” when they don’t quite understand
