Why did you think that after the second death star was destroyed that it was all over? The empire was still a huge thing and it wasn’t just going to go away because the emperor was gone. Large things like that have a momentum that can’t be easily stopped. The victory at the end of ROTJ, while significant, only offered

Agreed. Having the word brand in the title of your brand is beyond stupid. Bugged me from the moment I saw it.

This touches on nothing we didn’t already know years ago. I was hoping for something a little more in-depth.

Your take is wrong. She knowingly infected people. Killing others to make ends meet is not the right thing to do and yet here you are justifying it. Maybe the authorities should have forced her to have the surgery and then maybe all those people wouldn’t have died because of her or maybe they should have just locked

Considering that the Purple Man was a classic Daredevil villain, I’m not surprised. It’s hard to come up with original villains for a character that has only existed since 2001.

She did ask a couple of good questions and was getting ready to ask a lot more when the alien cut her off. Seriously, did you not actually watch the movie?

That’s the one he was talking about. Did you miss the part of the film where the device Ellie was in was dropped and fell through the middle of the construct to the net at the very bottom? Kind of hard to miss that unless you didn’t actually watch the film, which your comments seem to suggest.

I suggest you didn’t really see the film based on your comments. Why would anyone use something that they believe didn’t actually do anything?

That’s not accurate. According to the film, there was nothing preventing another person from going on the exact same journey Ellie went on. They gave us the machine. It’s ours and we can use it whenever we want. This is one of the most frustrating things about this film. Especially upon repeat viewings.

Ellie did ask some good questions. As someone else pointed out, she kind of lost her bearings when the alien showed up as her father. Remember when she was interviewed by the panel choosing who was to go? She was asked what one question would you ask if that’s all you had and hers was pretty good.

Nevermind

Classy AF, man.

Well, then, I just lined up right behind you in the “We’ve got problems line.”

That’s Rooker on the far right.

Totally disagree about Webb’s Peter Parker. He’s far inferior to Raimi’s. Spidey, OTOH, is flipped for me; Garfield does a much better job behind the mask than Maguire. I agree about Gewn Stacey. If we could mash the two franchises together and eliminate SP3 and ASM2 that would be sweet.

I just love his home-spun charm and affinity for Hank Williams’ music. I am not hugging him, however.

I feel like this should be here:

You obviously don’t know anything about this otherwise you wouldn’t have stuck your uninformed opinion in it. Let’s hope you end up with crazy-as-fuck religious neighbors instead. See how you like that.

No, YOU missed out on the part where that story was told at the end of the article (because reading the whole thing is too difficult for you, maybe?), and are trying to play it off like it’s no big deal. You dug your own grave there, Sparky.
