I was actually being a really good boy and holding off buying a lot of the Black Series figures, but godammit! I had the original early bird set and this is too much for my fanboy brain to handle. Must. have. all. of. these.

Ex-employee talking shit about ex-employer, but still expecting some kind of public presence/connection with ex-employer, and ex-employer responding “no way, hosea” =/= perpetuation .of racist structure. No matter how badly you want it to be.

And you get to be told you’re misinterpreting it, asshat. Dolan didn’t want anything to do with Oakley because Oakley has done nothing but talk shit about him and the organization while at the same time asking to have meetings with Dolan and wanting to do events and stuff with the team because he loved playing for

Considering Oakley was not playing with the Knicks when Dolan took over as chair of the MSG Co., Green’s comment makes as much sense as Oakley saying “As hard as I played for that motherf—–, and he don’t want to talk with me?”

Yes, Oakley was traded to Toronto in June of ‘98, a little over a year before Dolan was given the Executive Chairman position at the MSG Co.

You don’t get to define racism. It’s already been defined. Nothing that Dolan did with regards to Oakley was racist in any way, shape or form. That you think so shows your disconnect with reality.

Everything is subjective, except your opinion. ;)

I have lists on spreadsheets dating back to the mid 1990s covering all kinds of stuff besides movies, music, comics, cards and books I own. I’d say the nerdiest is the list(along with the corresponding stubs) of all the films I have seen in a theater since the late 80s.

More Captain Marvel? We haven’t gotten any Captain Marvel yet.

There’s nothing ambiguous about what successful means for a film. It’s ALWAYS financial. That you don’t get it shows your ignorance and your continued comments show your butthurtness.

That’s a visual effect, though. All stunts and explosions whether in-camera or post CG added in are visual effects. BTW, Fury Road had CG elements. If you didn’t notice them then they did a great job.

They give him difficulty only because the writers make it that way. Logically, before any non-speedster villain realizes the Flash is in their immediate vicinity it’s all over. They would have to know exactly what he was doing before he did it and then make sure that plenty of booby-traps/obstacles were in place to

Marvel Studios didn’t tend toward anything like that. They didn’t have the film rights to the X-Men characters. They didn’t have the film rights to the Fantastic Four characters. They didn’t have film rights to the Spider-man characters.

It was either going to get made with Johansson or some other A-list white American actress or it was going to get shelved. Seems like some here would prefer the latter.

If the Hawkeye film was based off the Matt Fraction run and introduced Kate Bishop that would actually be amazing.

And then the studio ignores her and moves onto another famous white American actress. That’s what they wanted all along.

Captain America has no superpowers. He’s peak physical human.

The Dukhat in Babylon 5's first “appearance”(only mentioned) was in February 1994, more than a year after Gul Dukat actually appeared on DS9. B5's Dukhat didn’t actually appear onscreen until 1998. Not sure why that is a glaring example of a pilfered idea since Dukat was a fully fleshed-out onscreen character years

I saw him at Dragon Con a few years ago and he went on a rant about not getting the same security that William Shatner did at the same con. He appeared to me to have a giant chip on his shoulder about a lot of things. I basically spent the panel squirming in my seat and apologizing to my wife who had wanted to see

We were told the second season was set in 1984, about a year after the end of the first season.
