Fortunately there's more of him in the Missing Pieces of FWWM. That long boxing match between him and Sheriff Cable is my favorite - those dumb looks from Cable after each punch from Desmond kill me every time, and the line 'This one's coming from J. Edgar' before the knock-out is solid gold. Maybe we will meet C.D.

That wide-eyed post-orgasmic ear-to-ear-smile surely added to him looking younger..

The whole scene I was expecting Dick Horne to smash that annoying and creepy bear, no such luck. Also, it clearly looks like an original Lynch art-piece.

Richard Horne, what a Dick.

Exactly, and to add a touch of 'otherworldliness' to that hauntingly beautiful song. Just the right thing to end this episode, to show that after all the ugliness beauty still exists. *grabs Kleenex, blows nose*

'Who's Johnny? she said and tried to look the other way. Eyes gave her awaaaaay, all right.' (DeBarge)

For me that whole thing felt strangely off, probably because it wasn't directed by Lynch. The only detail i like, is that Josie died of a 'broken heart' instead of being shot. The knob-storyline would surely have been continued, if there would have been a season 3 directly after 2 , as we know with Josie's sister

Man, now that was a real 'highlight' in Cage's career! Interestingly, Cage played that scumbag like Frank Booth/Denis Hopper on, even more, speed. He even stole that character's camouflage-look (moustache, bad wig, sunglasses) from Blue Velvet. Who knows, maybe that was an intentional spoof, but more probably it was

That immaculate wig had Cage & Travolta writhing in envious pain, even back then!

Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Aaahh that fucking knob-scene! The single one most stupid and unnecessary scene in all of Twin Peaks!! Even when i was watching it first on TV i loathed it to death, although the very special morphing FX were, uh, kinda top notch back then. Sorry for the rage, i guess i had one cup of damn good coffee too many..

Right after the last show being the most cryptic and dark, i think this weeks episode is intendedly the most light and funny one yet. Lines like: 'I-am-not-your-foot', 'I want to go scuba diving!', ' Fruitcake anyone?' , 'As a matter of fact, Ike, we have your whole palm', 'It's a fucking morgue!', 'What happens in

And the nostalgia is easily being helped by that great tune Green Onions, which btw was last cinematically used in this great scene from a not so great movie: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmD…

Yes and don't forget he still want's those mysterious coordinates Ray received from Hastings secretary (if i remember right)!

Yes, he's a real Forster-child, heh.

i had to laugh when EvilCoop dryly says to Ray 'You drive!', after what happened the last time he sat behind a wheel..

I also hope there are no aliens, this is TP and not mf-ing X-F! But that creature from the glass box sure had an alien vibe to it..

Someone's missing Bing, because he's sweeping the fucking floor so long :)

The credits state that Bing is played by Lynch's son Riley. I guess he's the guy that so lovingly sweeps the floor of the Roadhouse, having performed there in another episode with the band Trouble…

I really loved young Tim Carey in 'Legend' and i think he was quite good in 'Once bitten' as well…
