Soooo... are spoilers just a thing of the past now? It was on LAST NIGHT... I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet :/ Not that this is a huge reveal this early in the contest, but pleeeaaase consider having a spoiler tag and hiding stuff so it doesn’t just show up in my rss feeds with all the spoilery info? Please?…
Awful examples.. there’s a reason that they called Super Mario RPG that instead of Super Mario World 3.
But those were designated as seperate titles, as in the racing game was called Mario Kart and not Super Mario 6. This is called Yakuza 7 and only if the the fan reaction is negative will they use the previous system for other games.
I knew. I initially had forgotten about it until firing up Quantum Break for the first time a few weeks ago and loving it. Ever since then, I’ve been greatly anticipating it. Astral Chain is probably higher on my list because Platinum and I love police stuff in video games.
Streets of Rage 2.
I don’t have a problem with changing faces when it looks like it’s trying to have it’s own art style... but it literally looks like it’s trying to be the movies with the art direction.. so in this case it looks and feels like it should have the likenesses of the actors as well.
Looks cool. I hope it’s good. Thought it always feels weird when superheroes are constrained within a linear corridor. Like Mr. Thor, Themighty there having to smash a bit of pipe in order to advance.
By Thor’s hammer, it’s ALPHA footage and all you guys do are just complaining non stop?
As a black man, I’ve never really looked for self representation in games as I play games to escape. I used to seek out black characters in fighting games but if their fighting style wasn’t fun to me (especially when black characters could only be boxers back in the day) I would just play as someone who I enjoyed. I’m…
I don’t really think the Sega CD really hurt Sega’s reputation all that much as it was seen as a luxury attachment that most folks didn’t have. In many ways I feel like it was the Genesis equivalent of the Kinect. But the problem was releasing the 32X and Saturn within a year of each other, not supporting the 32X and…
I struggle with the buttons sometimes with retro games and fighting games are pretty much unplayable. I honestly never liked the Nintendo dpad for fighting games back in the day when compared to Sega but the buttons make the old Nintendo ones look like the best thing ever.
Man.. coming from someone who is obsessed with the 90s because I miss my childhood.. it wasn’t as good as you’re trying to make it out to be. First of all games were like $70 - $75 bucks and sure they were “complete” but more often than not a sequel would be released in 12 months if not less that didn’t do a whole lot…
This is exactly where I am and honestly how I’ve been for most of my life. I prefer shorter immediately gratifying experiences so good and short enough that I am encouraged to experience it again in the future.
Lol that person’s friends are jerks because of a comment they made? Sounds like you’re the jerk.
I mean, not to invalidate your experience, but there’s an entire sector of the industry specifically catering to what you want.
That doesn’t mean anything. He supposedly hadn’t played the game until 6 years ago..
Preferences.. because if I play an FPS on PC I use a controller. It's like when fighting game snobs try to look down on folks for using a controller.. I invested hundreds into high quality arcade sticks and still ended up going back to a controller.
Lol
