Do you mean first person narrative? That pertains to perspective, which is completely different than what we're talking about here. First - third party isn't exclusive to the games industry either, look it up. I've seen that it's used when talking about audits, data, etc. It seems that it's used often when it comes to

No, second party is the correct term. Anytime a game is published by a first party yet isn't developed internally, it is second party. Even if it is a studio like Naughty Dog that Sony owns, technically its still second party.

What did my comment have to do with you having the right to have or state an opinion? I just stated mine which is th at Osman doesnt have any more depth or story than Strider. To me, they're pretty much the same game...

It's funny that you say "Osman Forever!" but then mention that Strider has no depth... Neither did Osman... It's the same exact thing.

I always understood it to just be a placeholder for the PlayStation project. When they were working with Nintendo, it was called the Play Station. After their partnership dissolved, they removed the space and began referring to the project under the codename PSX. It reminds me of Katana/Rural for Dreamcast or Project

Was KI ever competitive though? I've always loved the series but never considered it something up there with SF or KoF back in the day.

Well Suda 51 never worked for Capcom actually.

Well aware of the definition. This wouldn't be jumping on a bandwagon considering they'be made fitness games for years now. I'd also say that we have no concrete facts on what exactly they're making yet. Either way, I was referring to your referring to the input methods for the Wii and Wii U as gimmicks. Nintendo has

No, you don't understand what gimmick is. A good example of a gimmick is marketing the NES as a toy by including ROB to get it into stores in the states since video games had fallen out of favor. Motion controls for the Wii is what it did, it was it's main control input. Calling those things gimmicks are like saying

It's fun for some to watch people do extraordinary things you couldn't. It's the same reason many gamers watch amazing players do speed runs or live streams or crowd around for EVO (even though they could easily fire up that game and play it themselves if they'd like).

Lol living in Texas, he's not off base at all. You especially don't have to go back my entire lifetime, considering I see people in Rangers and Cowboys gear that say and do pretty racist things, yet the majority of their favorite teams are made up of minorities. All you have to do is read a comment section on ESPN or

I'll never understand the sentiment that something is bad because people make a lot of money. Do you also not watch TV shows or films because actors make so much? Ignore any music where the musician isn't a struggling unknown? Eschew games like say Mario because Miyamoto makes as much money as the average football

Your friends are "geeks" because they're talking about something a little more obscure. If a couple of guys were sitting around going over stats in Lacrosse they'd be considered nerdy just like a couple guys sitting around talking about GTA or Call of Duty aren't considered nerdy for doing so.

You and five other people would pay $40 for a game on a cell phone. The way the mobile market is, they'd either have to release it for a fraction of that price or break it up into episodes/use some sort of free to play model for it to be noticed by the masses.

"And to say that the Wii U fails to gather the audience because of it's marketing and name is disingenuous. There are many people who understand whats up with the console and they still haven't purchased one."

How is that disingenuous? If it were so, then this wouldn't have happened. Or what about this? I can't find

I think Nintendo no longer wanted to be involved in the race for best graphics. The GameCube was a pretty powerful machine in 2001, but in the end it was in next to last place in the 6th gen race and so far is it's worst performing home console.

"These are the facts about Nintendos next console, straight from the inside" alone shows that the comment isn't going to be level headed.
