As we were trying to decide who was inside of Charlotte, my husband said “well, it has to be someone attracted to dudes, cause look at how she jumped on her ex-husband.” I explained that literally the whole world is attracted to Michael Ealy - and if they’re not, they should be - and so that was not a deciding factor

I don’t think it was intended to be about righteous violence, I think it was meant to show us whoever is inside Hale waking up and becoming a little more actively stable, but you’re right that it fell flat. It was grooming behaviour from an (as in real life) not quite as obvious as you’d hope creep, but the resolution

The production values of this show blow me away every week. It's like a blockbuster movie budget in every episode.

I am liking the story well enough, but I did enjoy the Russian nesting doll plot lines in the first two seasons. That said good to shake up the storylines and how to approach them.

I’m enjoying this season a lot for all the reasons Zack cites. Still, the scene in the park bugged me. I’ve never tried to do it myself, but I would venture that even if you could turn off all electronic surveillance it’s pretty hard to murder someone in the park in broad daylight without attracting unwanted

Absolutely incredible episode. Zahn McClarnon was amazing. Everything about this hour was sublime, the aesthetics, the music, the story, the acting. Possibly the best episode of Westworld yet, for me at least.

As far as I can tell, the most philosophical, thoughtful, interesting and melancholy episode of this entire series, thus far, has been a backstory filler episode starring a previously unknown character. This is amazing tv. It’s like trying to make the best Breaking Bed episode be about Steve Gomez. This actor KILLED,

We were well into Season 2 before the reviewer finally settled on “Delos” instead of “Dellos”.

A quibble that this was an A vs. an A-. I think the lower grade in the review if more a reflection of what the reviewer wanted rather than what was presented.

great episode, as good as anything from HBO since the Leftovers. Makes me wonder how much more compelling this show would be if it went that shows route and focused on one maybe 2 characters per episode. I know it does to an extent, but this one felt almost like a bottle episode, and I believe it was better for it.

This episode needs to win every award possible. The storytelling was beautiful.

It’s a series best for sure.

Maeve was listening to his story through her daughter. That was what she was using her connection to the mesh network for.
Anytime he was speaking Lakota/Native American he was actually talking to Maeve(she can understand him).
When he wanted to talk to the girl directly he switched to english.

The reason the Ghost Nation is overlooked by the programmers is the same reason they’ve been overlooked by the audience for nearly two seasons now.

Grace promises the fate she’s planning for William would be worse than anything the Ghost Nation could come up with. This seems like a stretch, although maybe her plan is to force him to leave his fun-time murder park and be a goddamn adult for once?

That’s easily the best episode of Westworld to date. It’s been so eager to rush from plot point to plot point, but here it spent an entire hour building out a single — important — connection. Infinitely better than the dumb cliffhangers preceding it.

Now that was a solid episode of television. Simply astounding.

I’m relieved that I’m not the only one who thought this was a brilliant episode. Maeve’s a maven, and Akecheta’s story is beautiful. Cap it with that ending...Charlotte better prepare herself.

This was my favorite episode of Westworld yet. I was engaged the whole way through. Loved it.

Remarkable. This one was an absolute treasure.
