Ooooh not quite what I wanted to hear haha. Luckily I have my rental coming in a few days so I can try it and see before deciding to buy it or not.

How’s it compare, in portable mode, to Xenoblade Chronicles 2? I’m generally someone who doesn’t care too much about graphics, really preferring the flexibility of playing in portable mode, but XBC2 was just too blurry for me in portable mode and I opted to play that in docked mode.

I think if the headline is an all encompassing “The beginner’s guide to Asian hot sauces” and then each is reviewed, then at least a passing mention should be given to how they’re normally used.

I mean it seems like you’re acting like the expert on Asian hot sauce despite living in France? The guy didn’t claim to be the expert on Thai food, he just makes a sauce.

Thai recipe made by an american that came from vietnam with chinese origins...

For an article about Asian hot sauces, there’s a surprising lack of, well, Asian food! Sambal Oelek goes great in fish sauce, especially the sweeter fish sauce that you eat with Vietnamese food like vermicelli, or by itself in Vietnamese vermicelli soups. Sweet chili sauce works great with the different variations on

Totally agree! Read a few reviews/recaps and she was criminally undermentioned. The matter-of-fact way she asks Rhea about getting tested...brutal

Might have to try this! Have a bottle of “real” mirin after going through the phase of researching all the different types and trying to find an Asian mart that had it, and use it exclusively for super easy teriyaki sauce.

Totally agree, I was surprised how expensive BWW was and how...not great the wings were? Out of the flavors I like (original, lemon pepper, and mango habanero) I definitely think Wingstop does them better.

Fucking crazy, especially after his comeback last season. Real bummer that we’ll never really see him when he’s at his prime, but glad I got to see him my freshman year when he was still at Stanford

I’m already not exactly a huge fan of the idea of a Mac-and-cheese bowl but I can’t imagine it with gravy on top...

Really hope it becomes just a normal menu item that’s sticking around and not a seasonal temporary item. Having it be seasonal, and with Popeyes being I think somewhat franchised, would make it extra annoying to find and get.

The wikipedia page for Panzerotto (panzerotti?) even specifically calls them out for being popular in Canada. As an American I’ve definitely never heard of them but I feel like I’m missing out, these look great

My personal favorite is last season Marcia calling Shiv a “spoiled slut” and telling her to fuck off. All that coming from a generally quieter, “nicer” (since no one on the show is actually nice) character

Well deserved, the show is just fucking goooood, and I enjoy my weekly dose of “fuck off”

Makes you wonder why they didn’t make this sooner. In retrospect it was a weird thing to be surprised by, but the instant I took a bit I was like “holy shit this chicken in the sandwich 100% tastes like Popeyes chicken and it’s so so good”

Had the Popeyes Spicy sandwich for the first time yesterday and while I wasn’t super excited about the spicy coming from the sauce, it was actually damn good. Hope this becomes an actual permanent menu item and all the locations get it, because I know availability for it has been hit or miss right now.

That’s good to hear; I like mayo and spicy mayo is probably great, but I like CFA’s Spicy chicken sandwich, and Popeyes, because the chicken itself is spicy. If Popeyes’ spicy chicken sandwich was just normal chicken with the spicy mayo that’d be a bummer

The documentary goes into the studios many of the laid-off people went on to work at, they talked about SQEX giving a decent severance package (I believe 4 months was mentioned), the unions in Denmark are mentioned as being helpful, and Denmark in general has a pretty low unemployment rate. I don’t really see anything

With regards to this and the Impossible Whopper, is there a quality “gradient” with these fake meats? Like if you were to compare the beef used at Burger King and the beef used at a higher-end burger place, the beef at BK would be clearly lower in quality. But is the Impossible patty in a Whopper any different from an
