The Switch definitely feels like a very sleek system that’s “cool,” and I love playing on it, I just don’t really think it matters thaaaaaat much. I’m still putting a ton of time into my 3DS because its games library is awesome and the 3DS is pretty decidedly “uncool”

I may or may not have seen it...

While I didn’t agree with the recap’s overall sentiment that the last ep was pretty bad, I do think a lot of these things are being way too rushed and we’re missing out on great reunions. Bronn/Tyrion is one, and the Tyrion/Jaime one should’ve been WAYYYYY better

It’s a little confusing but they link to a YouTube tutorial that I’d follow

If you’re looking to just play the SC1/BW Campaign, go play Starcraft Mass Recall, an amazing remake of the campaigns in SC2. I think it’s even free since you can play it in the SC2 Arcade.

Jason made me laugh so hard I think I died for like 7 seconds

He should put June and Jason in the show somehow!

Maybe it’s because I’m not a huge SW fan but all the prequels are not really exciting, and especially an Obi-Wan prequel.

Stranger Things’ coverage didn’t last 2 months on a daily basis

For every week for about 10 weeks (7 weeks this season), HBO and GoT OWN pop culture. Podcasts, articles, news headlines, blogs, etc. all about a single show. You don’t get that kind of coverage if all episodes are released at once a la Netflix.

Regardless of the games library, just as a system, the Switch just feels so fucking good to play. There are a bunch of indies I was just never interested in but now that they’re coming out on the Switch? Totally interested in them because I just love using the Switch.

You know, with a screen protector I feel like I don’t need a case for the Switch itself but actually just for the Joycons. Does anyone know of even just like a small pouch for one set of Joycons?

“Women don’t tend to like conflict, comedy often comes from conflict, so that’s probably why we (or others) have so few female projects.”

Ugh this pisses me off so much. When the MCU was discussing bringing in PoC/minorities/women as directors for MCU movies so many people were like “ugh they should just be focusing on choosing the best directors,” as if PoC/minorities/women weren’t as good as their white male counterparts, and as if the stable of MCU

Isn’t that the plot of an episode of Sherlock?

“Fuck the fans, this is for the TV critics at the AV Club!”

Same. I didn’t even know about the Inhumans at all before their MCU movie was announced but when it was, I started reading about them and got really interested and excited for the movie. Then it got changed to a TV show and I was like ehhh.... and then with the actual footage, I’m really sort of questioning it. I

Yep, good ol Scott Buck!

Kinda seems like this came from the same camp as the Iron Fist “well of course you critics don’t like it, this is for the fans” answers
