I probably would never have even tried it out if not for the episodic model. Never played a Hitman game but the ability to just pay $15 for a small chunk of content to try it out was great. If it was just a flat $60 purchase I probably never would’ve tried it

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Never did the management mini-game in FFX but Squadrons is already kind of like that and I don’t really like Squadrons at all, not sure how different Blitzball management would be

The Switch was gonna be perfect for local multiplayer. One person playing on the TV, the rest of us playing on our Switch in handheld mode all in the same room, was gonna be awesome

I don’t think it’ll be an MMO with a sub at all since they already mentioned that offline-play is still a major part of it.

The whole XX thing is a major reason why I’m still not too excited for World. I was so ready for MH on the Switch, it’s a perfect machine for MH

Kind of frustrating to see that same sentiment on the Switch subreddit when Odyssey was first announced. 3D World was widely acclaimed and pretty sure most people that played it loved it, so it was kinda clear that loads of people who were excited for the Switch never had a WiiU and just shat on 3D World even though…

The Switch is still pretty hard to find in most places so it’s not like there’s a lot of Switches just sitting in stores waiting for people to buy them.

I did get a copy before AM2R got nuked but I definitely think I’ll get this and play it, Metroid is perfect on a handheld. Now to figure out how to best play the SNES one on a handheld...

That’s basically it. They basically did this with Pokemon Sun Moon where the initial announcement was very bare bones, but that game came out. They delayed BotW a couple times but it actually came out and was an amazing game.

So in terms of the 2D games, I can now go from Zero Mission to this to the SNES one to Metroid Fusion?

Let’s hope so...
