Are there any save data transfers or anything involved in the series? I have the 1st on my PC and didn’t really play it, just got a Vita and would much rather play 1st/2nd on the Vita (if it’s a good port). But seems 3rd is only on PC. Is it weird to play 1st/2nd on the Vita then 3rd on PC?

Wait so is it $40 total or $40 in addition to whatever it costs to subscribe to normal Hulu right now? I have YoutubeTV and from what I can tell, most of the channels I use on YoutubeTV will be on Hulu Live (except I think AMC IS planned to come to YoutubeTV?). If the total cost is only $40 that’s only a little bit

100% agree. Maybe there was a better way to do it that didn’t really come off as “oh fuck we don’t have the time/money to make more” but that’s legitimately a great idea for an ending

Gotta be honest, I’m totally down with an instant-Coke button

That class...actually does sound really cool

But what does being appeased mean? Does that mean they buy IW? Does that mean they buy WW2? The fact that they’re buying WW2 is only notable if they’re not going to buy WW2 now, but I bet you that the number of people who aren’t going to buy WW2 because it wasn’t announced last year is very small

I don’t see how that actually changes anything for IW though. What is the ACTUAL benefit? Does stopping the bleeding get more people to buy IW? I don’t think so, especially because the way in which they stop the negative buzz is by pointing out the NEXT game

I guess my question is...why would it have helped? If people didn’t like the setting of Infinite Warfare, knowing that CoD 2017 would go to a setting they liked wouldn’t have made them buy Infinite Warfare.

Hell, leaving it as KKK and giving the joke a different meaning actually changes the vision of the game more than changing it to an equivalent joke.

Would westerners interpret it differently than the developers intended?

I don’t think ANY of that is intended by the developer at all though. Considering his opinion is that localization should hew as closely as possible to the developers’ original meaning, that explanation doesn’t make sense. I don’t think the Japanese developers put in a KKK sign because they thought Engrish signs in

Don’t be tricked into thinking every change to something is censorship, or that avoiding offending people is always disengenous or “PC”. Most people actually care, and aren’t hiding offensive things they don’t want to say/show; they just genuinely don’t want to saw/show those things.

While true, Lucifer is in the article and it comes out May 1 which is literally a day after American Gods

Lipschultz has long been an advocate against what he sees as censorship in localization, and he says his priority is retaining as much of Akiba’s Beat’s original meaning as possible.

What about as a new reader? At least for me, I enjoy the act of watching something without knowing what happens more than the act of reading something without knowing what happens. Like for GoT, I don’t think I’d enjoy it as much if the experience of me watching it was “how well does it adapt or change the book?”

I guess it’s more in the whole context of the two films originally being called Infinity War Part 1 and Infinity War Part 2, then Marvel making a big deal about changing the names, and then now talking about how they don’t want to reveal the 2nd movie’s name. In a vacuum, maybe “Gauntlet” is a spoiler, but when people

Didn’t you know? When it comes to being a nerd/geek, which geeky films/shows/books/comics/video games/properties you like DEFINES who you are! Clearly if you like something bad, that says something about you deeply as a person!

Somewhat of an unrelated question, but would people ever want Marvel to actually create new heroes/stories for the MCU? Maybe creating a solo film for a brand new hero is a bit much, but what would people think about Marvel creating entirely brand new stories for their films as opposed to somewhat creating stories

I remember reading that somewhere soon after the reveal and was pretty surprised. I mean I know that Zelda is actually not that big a deal in the “casual” market and Mario is a huge deal in the “casual” market but that Zelda trailer released during the same presentation is honestly one of the best game trailers I’ve

Half Nelson wasn’t great! But not sure how much of what they did there will be present in Captain Marvel haha
