I legitimately laughed out loud at the part where he’s just flying in the air. Oh you CDPR, love you guys

I dunno how much text there is compared to like RPGs and stuff like that but for some reason whenever I talk to someone ingame I’m just thinking “hot damn how did they localize ALL this text?” even though I’m not even sure if it’s THAT much text compared to other games
I haven’t felt this enamored with exploring a huge new world since the day I first picked up WoW. I never thought I’d find a game which recaptures that feeling, but here it is.
Doesn’t GW2 have a really limited hotbar setup? WoW probably won’t because you have so many keybinds (though FFXIV did it)
Really hope that means the PC will update to be more controller friendly. From what I remember from coming back to it last year for a bit the controller support was really meh. FFXIV on the PC has amazing controller support
Like I said, pretty sure it was a rule long before the WoW token ever was a thing. Same with selling your account for real money: that’s been ban-worthy for a while. Selling gold for real money was ban-worthy before the WoW token ever existed. And, like someone else pointed out below, other games like EVE have similar…
I mean pretty sure it’s been against their rules since before even the Token was introduced. If I had to guess it’d probably be because real money transactions over the internet between 2 random people can be insanely risky and Blizz doesn’t want any part of that.
Just to clarify, it’s specifically the real money part of this that’s the issue. Blizz is totally fine if guilds want to trade runs and clears for in-game gold
Aw man, the Amiibo is sold out? That’s the only one I’ve wanted outside of Yarn Yoshi
Other than that, pure heaven. So what have you folks been upgrading? I did a heart the first time but because I love exploring, it’s been all stamina since.
If I’m on the eShop, I’m here to shop for games, not to listen to elevator music. It’s not like cheery music is going to change my mind on whether I want something or not.
First off, you never have to advertise the shop music. Honestly I don’t think you ever even would advertise the shop music. It’s not like the Super Bowl commercial in 2018 is just gonna be a walkthrough of the eShop. Second, no one’s going to return it once they find out there’s eShop music.
Really hope they add a little bit more personality to the OS, it’s definitely very bare bones outside of the nice sound effects. I think the “choice” between a fast OS vs. one with music and personality is a false dichotomy.
You can choose between Black and White as of now
(Plus, you will take heart that Mike Fahey went through all of this and survived, though you may wonder if this means you will now have to become a fan of Hatsune Miku.)
Honestly I feel like even fans of the game would probably say it’s overpriced
It actually still is a lot smaller than you would think
It just means you haven’t encountered the situations that cause framerate drops. Considering the size of the world and the complex interactions between multiple elements, it’s pretty easy to see how some people can encounter situations where frames drop and others don’t. It also seems to be mostly limited to when it’s…
Yeah, when these things are all shown on the map and you kinda just go there so that it shows up as “completed” on your map and the rewards aren’t great and there’s no real gameplay involved, it does feel somewhat more like a completionist chore. Having them not on the map and having a mini puzzle involved and having…
I’ve played a decent chunk of BotW (maybe 30 hours? Jeez I hope not that much...) but I’ve actually only found a few Koroks. I’m having too much fun trying to find ways to get to cool destinations and not really noticing the smaller puzzles as much that lead to Koroks. Boggles my mind that there would be NINE HUNDRED…
