Is there a single-player component or campaign to Splatoon? Not really a shooter person and didn’t have a WiiU for long enough but now that I’m getting a Switch, I’m pretty interested to check out Splatoon 2 with all the buzz

Recasting is fine, they’ve done it before, but is the character in Dr. Strange supposed to be the same character here? Or are they gonna retcon something and say the one in Dr. Strange is a totally separate character?

Looking at the two cast lists it seems there’s a good amount that were recast, but looks like Marque Richardson is still the same character which is good because I really dug his character in the movie

Yeah I’m hoping that it’s just a weird way of them saying that they’re making a dark vampire movie as opposed to what’s on the market right now.

She was great in Creed too, excited to see her in Thor Ragnarok

I actually liked that movie! Though mostly because of the actors (Tessa Thompson was really good in it). It looks like it’s the same characters but different actors in the same roles?

Terry Crews would be absolutely amazing. He streamed his journey into becoming a PC gamer earlier last year, and that dude is a fucking delight

Not on consoles but for the few days I had a Wii U I liberally used the browser because it was great and it was great to watch Netflix on. The Switch is basically a tablet so it’s extremely natural to use a browser and watch videos on it so I hope they get it sooner rather than later.

By that logic the GameCube and the GBA were the absolute best thing to ever happen to Nintendo because clearly they were the reason the DS and Wii sold so well.

Yeah I dunno. I kinda feel like people just aren’t excited about it and you probably might be able to pin that directly on Bioware for not hyping it up and going through the standard marketing for it

The 3DS saw a 33% price drop because no one bought it, but it didn’t hit $125 (50% of the launch price) for a long while. The WiiU NEVER got a price cut despite it selling very poorly.

Do you think Yakuza Kiwami will be more heavily “connected” to Yakuza 0? I know Yakuza 0 is obviously a prequel, but since they made Yakuza Kiwami after 0, wonder if they made more overt connections between the 2, or if they’ll do the story recaps that covers 0.

I’m just a little meh on the first Avengers movie overall. Obviously it’s awesome for being a freaking Avengers movie but I actually didn’t think it was thaaaaaat great

I’ve actually never really liked Loki that much. I definitely dug Iron Monger (I mean...Jeff Bridges) but I actually did like Zemo too, though I don’t have as much knowledge of how he is in the comics

I’ve only seen Daredevil season 1 of the Netflix stuff so far but after not really being convinced about Rosario Dawson, Claire Temple was definitely one of the standouts in the season after I finished. She’s SO good
