It’s hacking in Pokemon you want for stuff like competitive battling. They do it to skip the tedium of breeding and raising EVs and stuff

Andy Staples and the Shutdown Fullcast/SB Nation guys said that Popeyes is the fast food that’s closest to a quality version of its respective food. Maybe it’s just me but soft-resetting for these starters seems to be way worse, there feels like a LOT more dialogue you have to skip through before you can see the color/gender

I guess it’s a less annoying PokeRadar (though I did find that fun actually), wonder how high the shiny chance increases as you go on. But, I think it’s way worse than PokeRadar in the sense that I freaking hate the SOS mechanic, it’s so annoying in wild battles.

That’s the soft-reset method that’s described for starters at the end of the article, when you’re encountering a Pokemon you can’t catch in the wild, so like starters or Legendaries. But, lately some Legendaries have been shiny-locked

That’s kind of a shame that the management side is undercooked, but when I think back to my days playing RCT a loooooong time ago as a kid I’m honestly not sure which aspect I enjoyed more. Maybe it was a combination of both? I do think I enjoyed the management part a decent amount in RCT. Do we know if the devs are…

The series is already pretty cheeky and irreverent and doesn’t necessarily take itself seriously, so it’s not like you have to be SUPER serious and faithful…
