Maybe I just didn’t put enough time into it but I remember my first try with Gwent was just absurdly hard. It was against the Nilfgaardian dude in the Emperor’s castle, and for some reason I just could not wrap my head around how you were supposed to play the game. Definitely still looking forward to the campaign here

A trackpad that doesn’t make you instantly question your decision to use a Windows device.

I think it’s because of cases where it “works,” like Jurassic World, as in an indie director directs a big movie but they don’t really interject their voice/style into it. Totally not my theory, so I’ll give credit to The Watch podcast, but they noticed a couple of indie directors (like Trevorrow) getting these huge

Exactly. If his take on The Flash was in line with Dope, then this is definitely disappointing. And even if it was “edgy,” he specifically says his “voice, humor, and heart” so I doubt it was grimdark

I don’t think it necessarily matters, since Kingsglaive happens largely separately from Noctis and crew

The answers about the “anime” story and the well-written dialogue, and you getting to know and like the characters, are actually the most encouraging. I do think my biggest concern for FF15 was that it’d kinda be very anime-y/cliche JRPG-y and that the characters would get annoying.

Sorry to say, but us gamers can see through it, we never thought you were cool =P

Eh, most cable shows already do shorter seasons

Well, that’s a gaming system, and its screen is I think 544p

But what is the upper bound on how many the Switch will sell? I just don’t think getting rid of the handheld line is going to increase sales of the Switch so much that it covers enough sales for BOTH a handheld and console. I think a portable, cheap Switch is an interesting idea and more likely than just completely

We all know that kids or should I say parents, make up a large percentage of Nintendo’s base and that market has been well served even though it’s been shrinking lately due to phones, tablets etc. But there’s still a market there and I’m wondering how confident Nintendo are about leaving that market.

Most phones/tablets aren’t meant to do stuff like run higher-end games, or be primarily a game-focused device.

In my limited testing time, I have to say that fear was for naught. Glancing down and tapping and swiping through options felt surprisingly natural.

I feel like I’m one of the few who doesn’t think they’re just going to abandon handhelds. Handhelds have always been the more successful of their 2 hardware lines, and the Switch just doesn’t fully target their handheld audience (the people buying things like the 2DS aren’t going to be buying the Switch as a portable)

I don’t think any base 15" model in the past started out at $2399

Even for Apple, this is stupid.

I was down for these but even by Apple standards those are stupid insane prices. 15inch starting at $2399? Fuck that

Is it just me or did NVIDIA do really well compared to AMD? And I’m saying that as someone who started out building my first PC with an HD7770, then moved to an r9 280, and had 0 complaints with AMD. Then I got a reference 480 because the rollout of AiB cards kinda took awhile for some reason, but it wasn’t as

It HAS to support SD cards. Even the freaking 3Ds supports them.

That and it’s probably region locked, or other wise has a software based solution availble for restricting certain content to certain regions.
