The N3DS is cool but the number of games exclusive to it is most definitely gonna be on the low end so no reason to fret if you already have a normal 3DS

And Bravely Second and DQ7/DQ8 too. 2015 started out awesome with MH4U but I agree the rest was a bit quieter, but with a strong 2016 it’s hard to argue that the 3DS overall is very healthy.

....no it’s definitely a new system. The hardware is completely different. That’s like saying if a PS4’s hardware was put into a PS3 shell you wouldn’t consider it a sequel platform because the shell looks the same. The 3DS is a lot more powerful than the DS.
