I feel like I have met a lot of white people who say authentic but they mean stereotypical. Like if you try to perform what feel authentic to you, they feel you are putting on an act and you have to conform to their manufactured ideas about authenticity or you are not living up to their standards.

People aren’t seeing movies because they’ve become too expensive. In NYC, I pay on average, $15.00 a ticket. More if it’s in 3d or RPX or whatever tacked on nonsense charge. It’s a minimum of $50.00 just to sit down with my wife and kid. I enjoy going to the movies, but many people don’t have the luxury of ponying up…

Also, and here’s the thing that always gets me with these kind of “let the man be part of the decision bills” - if they want to have equal say in whether or not a woman should get an abortion shouldn’t they be automatically legally responsible for at least 50% of taking care of that child once it’s born?
