@l337_7r4d3r: A "tan" is actually melanin (a type of skin pigment, like what's in freckles) surfacing to the top of your skin. Melanin blocks most sunlight from coming into your body. It therefore blocks more Vitamin D from coming into your body.

The way the question is posed, I voted for Wordpress, even though I don't use it.
