Bold move recommending the 4Runner when he said he didn’t want a 4Runner and when it gets almost the same mileage as his XJ.

I’m reading through the comments section and there are A LOT of people who haven’t driven a Kia in 10+ years in here.
Too bad you have to go to a Kia dealership to buy it, an experience that—nine times out of ten—will leave you feeling so frustrated and abused, you’ll run straight to the nearest Audi dealer for a considerably costlier A/S5 Sportback, or to the BMW dealer for a considerably uglier 430i/M440i Gran Coupe.
this is screaming for a ‘busa transplant
If your only benchmark is whether or not a car is a bargain compared to a Corvette, I’m sorry to tell you that you must also hate every sports car made in the last 30 years. The entire point of Corvettes is that they are cheap. I’ll take the manual supra (once it comes out) 10 times out of 10 over the C8.
The Cuban sandwich is a first ballot entry in the Sandwich Hall of Fame.
What?
Very much this. Pickup trucks really need to start doing this, especially since their angle of attitude varies with a load in the bed or pulling a trailer.
Learning home repair from watching Flip-or-Flop would be like learning car repair from Pimp My Ride. So I totally see your point.
Please elaborate on a “full sized American”.
I did the same to my slow-ass Lancer. I was surprised at the difference.
Did the same bushings and a Mountune shift pivot linkage on my Focus ST. Huge difference in shift feel. Just got done with the full RS brake kit and Mountune adjustable Konis/springs. Braking/handling are sports car quality now. Pair that with 255 width Potenza Sport tires and about 45 lbs of sound dampening…
Wheels and tires, 100% of the time. Whether for performance or aesthetics, it’s always the biggest improvement.
They should just use an F1 car from a few years ago and plaster a bunch of lights on it. Problem solved
That’s an interesting test.. so.. Explorer Timberline fails, so does the Honda Passport, so does the Outback Wilderness, so does the LR Defender... so does... the Grand Cherokee.
That is the exact reason why, for many, delivery is never going to work unless they are forced to do it.
I genuinely think that China has become the world’s Florida when it comes to things like this simply because they have those CCTV cameras absolutely everywhere and release the footage, which has the knock-on effect of making China look like one gargantuan OSHA violation in the same way that Florida has that law that…
THANK YOU for talking about wear bars. I’m in tire design with Michelin and it boggles my mind how many places online tell people to go find a penny to check the depth. We are government regulated to put 6 sets of wear bars around a tire (not as easy as it sounds) and people don’t even know they exist...
