They’re casting shade by... not casting shade. (Since they eliminate a building that would otherwise cast a shadow...)

$100? Man, that’s a stiff fine.

Now playing

Only if it fixes Honda’s rev hang issue, which makes any kind of sporty driving impossible. It’s a complete fucking joke to allow that in what is supposed to be a sporty/driver’s car.

Still doesn’t fix how ugly it is.

You answered your own question: it took time and money to develop, and you should have your losses recouped and be able to make a profit. It’s called running a business.

yeah but how is the dent going to look with those new creases?

riffraff reaction play by play -

From YT:

original wheels don’t help

Toyota Avalon Limited in Mint Green, rear trunk spoiler with a tan Landau top, it’s a set of gold badges away from from being the most old man vehicle ever, which is I believe the trim code for this edition

Not sure its a trim package but Mercedes offers the option of a backlit 3 pointed star on the front grill. This is tacky, cheap and hideous looking and anybody that specced a MB up with one of those things deserves all the ridicule they’d attract.

The tiny wheels are not on the car at delivery. It’s a drag car it needs the pizza cutters for optimum performance.

That’s like being upset that a Porsche GT3 comes with a set of road racing slicks.

i agree with this. IMO there is no reason to hate this guy as he probably just saved this car from the junkyard or the crusher - high mileage german car worth under $2k? People like him are snatching these cars from the jaws of death and self-proclaimed car lovers are as indignant at him as the guys who chop up old

Yup that’s similar to what I did with my 528i, currently have over 300k on it and still on the original engine and auto trans.

Wrong assessment. He shouldn’t have gone whipping as fast as he thought possible (that is, faster than he could safely judge the road). By the time he started thinking about ‘oh what do I do now’ he was already committed to going too fast into too tight of a corner. That is, he was fucked. The unfixable mistake was

Headline should be: “Miss understanding of understeer award winner now understands understeer is under appreciated” or “the case of the missing weight transfer”

Your car must’ve spotted some pedestrians nearby

Underthteer*

It’s like what Mike Tyson said, “Everyone’s Walter Rorhl until they understeer into a ditch on a dry public road in broad daylight.”

It’s one thing if you’re going to clean it up and it’s just going to be something you toodle about in every couple of weeks but don’t actually depend on for transportation. Actually owning one to drive is a whole different story.
