“He could then, you know, just not charge them very much rather than committing fraud against AAA.”

This is a thing throughout the South. I believe this is due to some combination of the way many southerners are and the general lack of vehicle maintenance. Everybody must know somebody who tried to negotiate a simple turn at more than 1mph and their front suspension collapsed or something.
I feel like Virginia’s worst driving trait is that there are plenty of drivers from Maryland going 20 over with spectacular insanity mixed with a healthy dose of drivers from either Carolina going 5 under in the left lane.
...even if that wasn’t an Everglades edition with the snorkel, that water looks to be well below the door sills and where the regular intake would be high up in the engine bay.
Horizon 5 has definitely nerfed payouts across the board compared to the last game.
The C6R is still the most *Corvette sounding Corvette but I am a sucker for a screamy flat plane v8.
“I, however, am not a good driver. I cannot be expected to safely drive a car that is RWD and I definitely cannot drive manual”
I wasn’t thinking of my definition of “fun to drive” I was thinking of someone who says they aren’t a good driving and thinks a 2013 Cruze is fun and quick. A CX5 turbo will get to 60 roughly 3 seconds faster than OP’s Cruze.
Sporty, Reliable, Fuel Efficient, AWD and a self proclaimed “not a good driver” means the answer is a Mazda 3, CX30 or CX5.
I think they dropped the CX3 for the CX30 right away since the CX3 did not have the same automotive journalist/review goodwill behind it. They’ll sunset the CX5 in a couple years when they introduce the CX60/90/etc as all new platforms.
They sell plenty of CX5s for good reason, but I bet they’re also tired of people *almost* buying a CX5 and then buying a Forester or a Bronco Sport instead.
The CTR is the winner here. A Golf R isn’t a bad choice but anything German doesn’t bode well for the “5-7 years without being a maintenance nightmare” requirement. The CTR is a more useful daily than the STI because it’s a hatchback and has bigger rear seats. It’s more comfortably as well.
Not pictured: The full skid plates ordered for my GX back in November because labor, material, and shipping shortages mean I might have them by spring.
Every Tesla owner drinks the Kool Aid to some extent.
Questions:
I wonder if this is actually because the Raptor is 200 feet wide so the margin for error with BlueCruise is too small for Ford’s comfort level. (Technically being 200 feet wide is for off road stability at speed so I guess we can call that “off road tech”)
No longer being hilarious deathtraps is nice
An TV show retelling of the video games saga would be somewhat of a waste since there wouldn’t really be surprises. Though I am looking forward to hearing “The Covenant have found something, and now they’re afraid” at the end of an episode.
FWIW the NC facelift/refresh was also very solid
People of the internet are pointing out that the suspension appears to use the same control arms as the Model S. They’re also pointing out that this appears to be significantly smaller than the original concept (or the dude in the picture above is a giant).
