It’s going to be super fun to come across one of these stuck on a narrow east coast trail.

I suppose it would make sense that the closer the snow gets to mud, the better suited MTs become.
Given everything else going on with that truck, my guess is they’re the cheapest “mud terrain” that would fit the wheels so maybe I’m being unfair towards real mud tires.
Mud tires suck in the snow for almost the same reason UHP tires suck in the snow. They have big tread blocks with very little siping meant to scoop mud and grip rock. Those big tread blocks just slide right over snow. This is also an issue of 2wd, open diff, weight distribution.
The Needler can be a monster (and super fun to supercombine overshielded players). It seems like the Needler’s problem is actually Infinite’s problem with desync/hit detection and not the gun itself. There are times where it seems the game just forgets to detect an enemy in the crosshairs so the needles just spray…
It’s a general rule. There’s a decent chance that you are stuck in the snow because you slid off the road and/or high centered on a snow bank. That comes with a chance you damaged the underside of the vehicle and may have an exhaust leak.
Vodka!
Central Virginia doesn’t usually fall into the “dying from exposure” weather category. But 8+ inches of heavy, wet snow fell in a few hours and then it got down into the teens that night. He decided to walk like 10+ miles through a snowstorm, and made it 5+ miles before some combination of hypothermia or injury shut…
Sidewalk etiquette.
Regardless of weather, there is a fairly high probability that your 100 mile drive between DC and Richmond takes 4-6 hours on a regular day.
This is basically a combination of the worst parts of the “only idiots take on debt” Dave Ramsey financial advice and the “finance everything you have your whole life to pay it off” financial advice.
Forza (Motorsport and Horizon) has been my jam since FM1 way back on the original Xbox. I prefer Motorsport because I enjoy learning the real tracks. Where Horizon shines is letting car people who are not gamers, gamers who are not car people, and car and racing game enthusiasts have good, silly fun together.
Well, if anyone was wondering what a new Blazer would look like with a BMW grille...
Your Alltrack can’t drive through other vehicles which are stuck in the snow. That’s the problem.
I feel the most for locals who had to be out, like hospital staff leaving their shift. I feel for the holiday/through travelers who got stuck, but also they should have checked the weather. I have no sympathy for people like our esteemed senator Tim Kaine who tweeted that he left Richmond at 1pm to drive to DC. It was…
Outside of alpine and lake effect snow areas, most places can’t keep up with inch+ per hour snowfall rates.
Considering some people were stuck on 95 for 24+ hours, baby wipes aren’t a bad thing to keep your figurative shitstorm from becoming literal...
This was a weird storm. It was heavy rain and wind before it changed to snow so pretreating roads wasn’t an option. The storm itself was pretty narrow and if we’re only looking at the 95 corridor it was basically Richmond to DC so out of state travelers probably weren’t aware of the impact. The area of central and…

VA doesn’t handle snow that well. However, the area of Virginia where this is happening received somewhere between 7 and 12+ inches of snow in like 6 hours yesterday. It was also pouring rain before it turned to snow so pretreating roads wasn’t an option.
