NP for sure. This is the right combination of seemingly pretty good mechanical condition, manual transmission, and cosmetic blemishes to be the basis for a super rad track car.

The lesser of two Evos: The harrowing voyage of buying a 12 year old Mitsubishi instead of a 30 year old Mercedes
259 lb/ft is also not that much torque
It’s really pretty simple: Buying a car means you pay the price of the car plus the hidden cost of depreciation, leasing a car is basically paying the price of deprecation for the dealer.
Well...I did just sell my FiST and buy an equally quirky but surprisingly capable yet totally different hatchback, a Lexus GX.
The CTR actually looks WAY better with 18/19 inch wheels which are wider/lower offset to actually fill the widened fenders even with its silly body work
The Type R feels like it is on another level in regards to chassis/suspension tuning when compared to it’s contemporaries like the STI or Focus RS.
100% this. It is going to be a long time before EVs can replace ICE in all applications and that is ok.
You are applying logic to a scenario in which logic is not being used.
I think it depends on the definition of ‘great gas mileage’. My lifetime average MPG over 5 years and 60,000 miles with my Fiesta ST is like 28.9 and I do not really attempt to be efficient.
Taking the PPP loan for which you are eligible is a a smart move since the money is available. A lot of companies took PPP months ago as a hedge against the unknown even if they did not immediately need the money to stay afloat.
Although sometimes it’s a specific car problem (like old Lamborghinis) it is shocking how many people who drive stick are actually terrible at driving stick.
Everything about this post is good.
I mean, aside from McClarens most mainstream sports and supercars these days are well over 3000 pounds. The Donk is half the weight (or less) of most of its price/speed competition.
It shouldn’t since IFS. On pavement the Bronco should be the clear winner for both comfort and daily driving dynamics...which is something Ford is probably banking on for people who test drive both a Wrangler and a Bronco
I think Ford recognizes that the die hard Jeep people will not suddenly switch to Broncos...but Ford also recognizes that of the 200,000 people who bought Wranglers last year, a large majority of them are not die hard Jeep people who probably would have preferred to buy something “fun” which doesn’t shake on the…
The 200,000 people who bought new Wranglers last year clearly weren’t bothered by the lack of a V8 or reliability ratings so that shouldn’t matter much for the Bronco either.
Sig is basically a US company now (one of the reasons they got the Army pistol contract over Glock). I think the only reason H&K doesn’t shift entirely to the US is because they like to flex on the poors so they need to keep their official German engineering.
I think anything forged from BBS is coming from BBS Japan, which is a separate entity from BBS Germany.
I mean Honda could just start making the S2000 again
