Today... It isn’t any harder to get parts for a Mitsu compared to a Subbie... And that won’t change for the next 5 years probably... After that? Who knows... But the aftermarket for these cars (both brands) is huge, therefore you will most often than not find parts for them... If you are buying one to become a

What are you talking about? Slower than a manual? I dare anyone shift faster than an SST... Handles more power than a manual? On the contrary? It is Torque limited because the TCU hasn’t been cracked yet, therefore clamp pressures can’t be modified...

Out of those pictures... Only one seems to be an stance car...

Now playing

I believe it could be argue the other way: “Who in the world will overpay for an oil change at the dealer”... As long as you keep receipts of the oil/filter purchased for the changes, your car shouldn’t lose any type of warranty/value... No one can force you into overpaying for a service, nor to be forced to do it

Only issue in my car (30k miles, 5 years of ownership) was the AYC pump... which went out due to corrosion and was replaced at the dealer at no cost in about 4 hours... Had to wait there to make sure they didn’t flash my car or put fuel in it :)

So, you are basing your whole argument in one point of data? I mean, that’s one review, on one car... Have you done the comparison of the maintenance costs versus similar performance cars? For example, a break job in a GTR is 12,000 at the dealer, in comparison the EVO’s seems to be really on the cheap side of

Again... Have you ever owned one? I mean... You are showing a lot of ignorance... Let’s get some real data:

Incredibly expensive to maintain? What are you talking about? Have you even owned one? It isn’t that much more expensive to maintain, especially if you have enough skill to change the oil... It sips a good amount of gas, but who buys an EVO for fuel economy?

Bought it new in 2010... Not one single issue until this day... For it’s 5th birthday, several upgrades were installed... With a stock engine, it’s a blast to drive and can the 1/4 in 11.99 seconds :)
