Despite being the man who created Frank Booth, it's still somehow surprising to hear that guy swear.

Dune (for non Lynch-related reasons). I thought it had a good story that got buried under Herbert's writing. I found the world and concepts presented more compelling than anything that actually happened in it.

* except for Dune, which I feel doesn't really count

With an endorsement like that, how can I resist?

I've heard great things about Mulholland Drive. Even though someone (sort of) spoiled the ending for me, I feel like I might get more out of it if I'm not constantly trying to figure out what the fuck is going on.
