Well part of the reason is that those aren’t full blown Nordic winter tyres, but for continental European weather where big emphasis is also for the dry and wet performance. So they are just one step from the all seasons vs the full bonanza Nordic tyres like Nokian Hakkapeliitta with or without studs.

Eh, it would be hard to just cold turkey quit on someone you had a long time friendship with, coupled with some denial depending on how strong the relationship was. I would have stayed quiet about those thoughts though.

I think the social commentary here is wildly unnecessary and the writer clearly doesn’t get the whole idea of the BM experience. It’s not for me but I’m also not going to rip on it just because it doesn’t suit an experience I want to have. Just glad people are finally able to get out of there.
