He has money. He wants power and fame. He wants to be a hero in fictitious Russian history books. Shit like that. Hell, he might even get off on murdering people, both his own and others.

Man, cops are the fucking worst humans. We need to up the standard for hiring to include a basic psych evaluation.
“... a judicial ruling that states that police can’t be held liable for breaches of constitutional rights unless that right is clearly established in another, identical case.”
It would be worth it for the meme. It might even be worth it for the car on it’s own merits. It’s pretty nice, for what it is. And if you’re going for the meme, might as well go all out.
Or what’s on dealer lots. Good luck finding a base model...
Frankly, it’s difficult to find one that’s not near EoL. Most of them have racked up 200,000 or more miles, and bring with them poor maintenance from previous owners, who were too poor to do it. The ones that can still fit this bill are owned by people who are asking too much money thinking they have something…
What he wants is completely possible. But the time frame and scale are not.
Just about every modern car will. Here in MN we store our Summer cars for 4-6 months every year. If my 71 Nova could handle it, anything made after the year 2000 can.
Second generation F-Series. One of the best looking trucks of all time.
Commonly shit on for being a boomer special, the Tri-5 Chevy’s are fantastic (150, 210, Bel Air). I personally love the ‘55 150 the most. Just gorgeous.
Having grown up in the northeast, I thought people in the southwest were just idiots. Thought there’s lots of evidence to suggest that is often the case (everyone has bald tires and dry rotted wiper blades), remember that a lot of people down there are transplants and not natives. The natives in Arizona and Nevada at…

The chassis ID of that Ferrari sold for $1.9M. The scrap metal they tossed in for free. It has LONG passed the point where you can make a brand new one of these from scratch for less than it costs to buy one in good condition, but without that all-important chassis ID, it’s not a Ferrari (and Ferrari will sue your ass…
I think this is a bit flawed. While EV drivers don’t need fuel from gas stations, they are sometimes the most convenient places to stop for coffee/snacks/restrooms on a road trip.
This is what I’d get and let it sing to 8500 RPMs.
Hands down the Citroen CX ad with Grace Jones. How can anything else even come close?
I assume there’s some unnamed bonus as part of that $170k? Even if you make the top mark of $49/hr, that will require ~58 hours a week for 52 straight weeks (assuming 1.5x after 40 hours) to hit $170k/yr.
If it’s a standalone feature that doesn’t cost a carmaker anything for the customer to use (think heated seats) then subscriptions for these things really irk me.
Personally, I have no problem to have to pay a subscription for autopilot technology. I have a bigger problem with heated seats or remote start type of subscription as this is, now, basic tech that should be available if the hardware is present in the car.
