What, no love for the W12?

I loved mine. I paid $200 for it, drove it 100k miles, and sold it for $400. It only needed minor work, parts were cheap, and I beat the hell out of it. I took out all but the driver's seat, and hauled lumber, 960 lbs of concrete mix, you name it. I jumped it over RR tracks, did donuts in reverse, rockfords, and

So who do we have to thank for XZN triple-square fasteners used in modern german cars?

DING, DING DING! We have a winner!

Yup, Subaru really f'ed up the XT. I just want a newer version of my 143k '04 FXT manual, cloth and solid roof, with room to add similar upgrades. The 4EAT kills it for me.

Try a V8 Touareg 1 - by the book, you have to drop the engine, front suspension, transfer case and transmission to get at the 190A water cooled alternator. Apparently some have done it without dropping the engine, but they had really small hands and bent over sheetmetal to do so.

I love these things, but CP.

Nice price, and Ralph Nader can go eat a poopie.

That's because the cupholders were pretty much an afterthought. Ze Germans were always behind on the "the more and bigger cupholders" curve. They can't comprehend why we're sucking down a XXL slurpee, when we should focus on driving. I think Porsches didn't even have cupholders for the longest time.

The Baldwins are from Syracuse. And yes, I am aware that Canada bombed the Baldwins in SP: BLU

NP. How prophetic. I just passed a black SVX this AM and was thinking all morning about how much I want one to replace / share the garage with my high mileage FXT. I doubt the wife would play along, though.

Travis who?

I was just reading his column today while IT was installing a newer version of ACAD on my PC. Rest in Peace, Bob.

100% agree. The huge number of buttons popping up on steering wheels is already getting ridiculous. If you can't do it by feel, without taking concentration off the road, you shouldn't be doing it. I prefer cruise control stalks like those in GM's and Subarus as well. Sure they're different, but once you get used

You got it right wth the Dustbuster Trans-Sport. I bought a 94 with a 3800 and 100k miles for $200, actively tried to kill it for another 100k (jumping over train tracks, 960 lbs of concrete hauling lumber), and sold it for $400 when I bought my Forester XT. Must have been alien technology to endure that. Best car

Seems like quite the half-assed solution. The pedal feel has to be horrible, like stepping in a cow patty.

I like it. So fresh and so clean

Anybody remember the movie "Let's go to prison" - I think he's gonna be nicknamed "Baby Duck" for both reasons.

Ron Paul!

As the former owner of a '96 2dr Tahoe, this sickens me. I prefer my route: Black bedliner on the bottom half & bumpers, body color grille, black "rock crawler" wheels, 33x12.50x15 or bigger Mud Terrains, and done.
