A friend of a friend called me a "little black girl" a few weeks ago. When I challenged him on it, he said it was just because I'm so tiny and little. This white man from Georgia had no idea why that made me uncomfortable and I didn't want to ruin brunch by launching into an explanation so I just let it go.

When I first moved to the South, a coworker suggested to (black) me that I take my family who was visiting, for a tour of a plantation. Because it's soooo pretty and you will really enjoy how peaceful and grand it is.

Awww. He was the best dog ever. He died soon after his owner and I suspect it was of a broken heart. They are such wonderful dogs. You should really get another. As soon as I can afford to, I plan to do the same.

I looove German Shepherds. They start off as these furry balls of fun with huge paws and grow into the most lovable, loyal dogs ever. I've had 3 throughout my life and I've found them to be very intelligent also.
