*faints*

Deep like the ocean.

Haha! It was wonderful. My gravy was delish. I set it on the table and the other gravy was immediately removed by its maker and thrown away.

Reykjavik is amazing. Be prepared to hit up the shops, if you're into that sort of thing.

I know that all black people are not the same which is exactly the point I was making here. It's that he made a blanket statement about BLACK PEOPLE when the structure of power and wealth and who owns and controls it is different for different countries of black people.

I stand corrected then.

Lots of black Nigerians have oil connections,no? I suppose he meant African Americans instead of black people. Which is another rant I don't even want to have to start on right now.

We're on the same page because I just finished making the gravy from the drippings and neck-bone meat of the turkey. It tastes really good.

I'm an only child who felt this way about my first cousins who lived down the street. Except we were all competing for the affection of the aunts, uncles and grandparents.

I'm currently prepping to make my own gravy, as I type this. I am going to need lots of booze tonight so I can smile as I walk into this "potluck" with a huge turkey, gravy, 2 sides and wine. In heels!

I feel like an idiot for not saying anything but when the list was going around, I was really busy at work and didn't really realize what was going on until yesterday. But I won't let it ruin my holiday. Happy holidays to you too.

Your comment made me LOL!

I'm getting more and more upset as I think of these details. Maybe I should just make the gravy.

Happy Birthday. Hope you have a great time.

Good idea.

I know! Where is this mystery gravy coming from?

Hahaha! Thanks and same to you.

Geez! I hope you have a nice holiday, regardless of the family dynamic.

That's true. I didn't even realize that I had the heavy stuff. I think I've been had!!!

We're all pretty much equal financially. But I really like your idea.
